Mail Designer 365 allows you to build custom HTML emails to use with Campaign Monitor. To upload your email newsletter directly from Mail Designer 365 to Campaign Monitor, you will need your Campaign Monitor API key:

- Sign in to your Campaign Monitor account.
- To find your API key, Go to "Campaign Monitor Account Settings."
- Then, click “Show API key” and copy it to use in Mail Designer 365.
Tip: Keep your API key handy so you can quickly copy and paste it to use with Mail Designer in the future.

How to export your HTML email to Campaign Monitor
Before you get ready to export your design, make sure you have added an unsubscribe link. This is mandatory for all email newsletters. You can do this by highlighting your opt out text and going to “Insert” > “Campaign Monitor” > “Unsubscribe link”
- To export your design to Campaign Monitor, click on “Share” > “Campaign Monitor”
- Campaign Monitor will then ask you for the API key you generated earlier.
- Click on “Export” to upload your design to Campaign Monitor
- You will find your email design under "My Templates" ready to use with the automation tools provided in Campaign Monitor.
